Shrimp is my gentle orange giant. He has to be one of the sweetest, most perceptive cats I have ever come across. He was brought into the veterinary clinic as an itty bitty stray kitty. I could not resist those big brown eyes and ended up “fostering” him. We all know many fosters turn into “foster fails”…this proved to be the case with Shrimp.

Shrimp’s favourite things to do are lounge, sleep, eat and be cuddled (can’t blame the guy). Everyday is lazy Sunday to this big boy. We really have to encourage him to get up and play otherwise he would sleep the entire day away. He does get frisky at night and runs a few laps around the house. Then he resumes his position on the end of the couch or on top of a lap (which he much prefers). Shrimp has shown me no matter what happens in life you can always choose to be gentle and kind to those around you.
